We currently have several sign-up opportunities available for events and other needs at St. Rose. We invite you to prayerfully consider how you might share your time and talents in service. As Catholics, we're called to stewardship - gratefully giving back to God the gifts He has entrusted to us. Whether you're an adult or teen, young or young at heart, your willingness to serve helps strengthen our parish and build up the Body of Christ.
Please take a moment to review the sign-ups below and consider where God may be calling you to serve. Thank you for sharing your time, talent, and faith with our parish.
GOLF TOURNAMENT HELPERS
Our Annual St. Rose Golf Tournament is the second of only two large fundraisers we hold each year to help pay down the debt on our Discipleship Center. We are grateful for the many hands that make this event possible. Please consider signing up below to share your time in support of this important fundraiser!
PSR TeacherS
As we look ahead to another wonderful year of PSR, we are seeking a few caring individuals to serve as grade school teachers for our Wednesday evening program. You do not need to be a theology expert - just someone willing to share your faith, your time, and God’s love with our children. Teaching PSR is a beautiful opportunity to make a lasting impact on a child’s faith journey while growing in your own faith as well. If you have ever felt called to help guide our young people closer to Christ, please consider joining our PSR family. We would love to talk with you and answer any questions you may have. Please contact Tammie; you can typically find Tammie in the gathering space before Sunday Masses. Thank you for prayerfully considering this important ministry.
adoration
The Fruits of Stewardship (Fr. Jarrod Lies): Fruit #2 - Adoration: Love that Lingers
“Could you not keep watch with me for one hour?” (Mt 26:40).
We are human beings more than "human doings". Another fruit of stewardship is Eucharistic adoration. A grateful people do not rush away from the Giver. They remain with Him. Adoration trains the heart in receptivity, silence, trust, and love. It teaches us that before we are workers, we are worshippers; before we give, we receive. Stewardship without prayer becomes activism. Stewardship with adoration becomes communion.
