Altar Society

A group of lay women in the parish who help with miscellaneous tasks throughout the parish like maintaining ceremonial objects used in worship, organizing different social events, funeral dinners, etc.

Holy Name Society (Men's Club)

Lectors

A lay person who reads the scripture, other than the Gospel, for the Mass aloud to the rest of the congregation.

Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers

A lay person who assists the priest in administering the sacraments of holy communion, the consecrated bread and wine. They may also take the sacraments to those who are ill, or otherwise unable to attend Mass.

Lay men of the Parish who are responsible for seating people for Mass, maintaining the order and security of services., take up the collection, and aide in any other miscellaneous needs that may arise during Mass.

Altar Servers

An altar server is a lay assistant to a member of the clergy during a the liturgy. An altar server attends to supporting tasks at the altar such as fetching and carrying, ringing the altar bell, among other things. Typically altar servers are between the ages of 5th-12th grade children.

Choir

Catholic Youth Ministry (CYM)

Catholic Youth Ministry is a group of lay high school aged children who come together for different social and faith formation events. The goal of this organization is to empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.

Parish School of Religion (PSR)

An association established in Rome in 1562 for the purpose of giving religious education. Its modern usage is a religious education program of the Roman Catholic Church, normally designed for children. In some parishes, CCD is called PSR.

Social Committee

The Social Committee plans different social events for the benefit of the parish and its members.

Stewardship Council

The Stewardship Committee is a group of lay people who help organize stewardship throughout the parish. This includes helping putting together stewardship packets, distributing them, speaking about stewardship to the parish, etc.

Totus Tuus

Totus Tuus is a week long summer Bible camp for K-12 children. If you are interested in helping host Totus Tuus staff at your home, help chaperone during totus tuus, or make meals please contact Sheila or the Parish Office for more information.

Welcoming Committee

 A committee to welcome new parishioners to the parish. This could include anything from putting together small gift for them to visiting them at their home.

Meal Ministry

The meal ministry helps provide meals for parishioners in need, whether it be because the welcomed a new baby, have a family member in the hospital, are home bound, etc. 

Lord's Diner

The Lord's Diner is an organization that helps feed those who are less fortunate. Our Tri-Parish community has a group that goes to help serve meals every first Monday of the month from 5:15-7:45pm. Other opportunites to help include Daily preparatory shifts from 10:00am - 2:00pm / 7 days a week, Food truck support from 3:45 - 6:15pm Monday-Friday, and Brick and Mortar site location: 5:15 - 7:45pm 7 days a week.
